Sometimes, stainless steel lights may develop stubborn stains or fingerprints. Here’s how to tackle them:

- Use paste solution provide in kit. (HV9971)

- Apply the paste to the stained area and

let it sit for a few minutes.

- Gently scrub the stain with a non-abrasive sponge or cloth, following the grain of the steel.

- Rinse off the paste with clean water

and dry the lights thoroughly.

Polishing

To maintain the lustrous shine of your stainless steel lights, periodic polishing is recommended. Follow these steps:

- Apply a small amount of stainless steel polish or a specialised metal cleaner to a soft cloth.

- Gently rub the polish onto the lights,

moving in the direction of the grain.

- Continue polishing until the desired shine is achieved.

- Wipe off any excess polish with a clean cloth.

Protection Against Corrosion

Stainless steel lights are resistant to corrosion, but it’s still important to take preventive measures:

- Avoid using abrasive cleaners, steel wool, or harsh chemicals that can damage the steel’s protective layer.

- If your lights are located in coastal or high-humidity areas, consider applying a thin layer of stainless steel protectant (HV9971) to further enhance corrosion resistance.

- Regularly inspect the lights for signs of tea staining If any are found, address them promptly using a stainless steel paste and follow up with appropriate cleaning and polishing.
